Hey Joni.

Finally, after attempting to get an outfit post up for the past few days I managed to spare time before university today without nosey people, awful weather or atrocious lighting getting in the way. Mind you this isn't perfect, and the wind was pretty determined to blow me away at a point. I think every blogger out there, including myself, is longing for summer days now, simply for the outfit snaps...some heat wouldn't go a miss either would it? Nevertheless we shouldn't be wishing our days away as my Nana would say, alas we must brave the last of winter, and just pretend for now. Enter trusty Ray Bans.

There's a few new naughty purchases amongst this black outfit, including the spikey, silver necklace which adds an edge to any top and the new Topshop jeans, Joni- super high waisted and tight. I chose the dark shade as they could be very versatile, worn in the day like above or for a night out with a pair of hot heels; this reasoning lead me to believe it was okay to spend money I shouldn't have. Totally worth it. Have you girls tried the new style? What do you think? For me Topper's jeans come up trumps amongst other highstreet brands, the range and fit is like no other and the price is pretty reasonable for a long lasting pair.

I'm off to attempt a work out in hope of a perfect summer body, a girl can dream right? Hope you are all well and THANK YOU so much to all my lovely new followers.

Double Laze.

Wednesdays are officially my lazy day; I have the day off uni for 'self-directed' study and do not creep out from under my duvet until afternoon hours. Not much gets done, and I barely leave the house...part of me is ashamed but part of me says it's okay. It's okay because I'm a very poor student who needs to lock herself away from any spending temptations. It's okay because the day can be spent pretending to get through the mountain of uni work piling up. It's okay because it's cold and miserable outside. Does anybody else get my drift? One day a week is allowed right?
All these reasons were verified today when I did in fact leave the house *shock horror* to apply for some voluntary work in town. Yes I fell victim to temptations, no I didn't even come close to completing any work and did you see the weather today?!

Double denim anyone? It's a bit hit and miss, but I wasn't taking myself too seriously this afternoon and really wanted to wear my beloved men's shirt, plus it's a nod to the western trend that's hovering about. I've seen a lot of amazing Isabel Marant-esque boots and shirts on the high street, love this subtle cowgirl revival; have you girls been influenced yet?

I'm off to read fashion magazines for uni research...not too shabby tehe.

Pretty White Tee.

It's more simple white tee, however the cut-out shoulders gives it some ooo, in my opinion the most attractive things about a girl are less obvious; shoulders, collar bones, wrists and back to name some. I'd had my eye on the cut-out tops for a while, but never got round to buying one...until yesterday when I went where I shouldn't and browsed the sales (I can't save, it's sooo hard!) and found this simple number in New Look for £4, not too shabby ey. It looked like the last one on the rails, and it is a few sizes bigger than my norm, but I like big and baggy!

There's something about a plain white top and blue jeans that makes me feel fresh and healthy..strange but true. It's such a simple outfit, but it's like a clean slate to accessorise how ever I feel like it, there aren't really any boundaries with this clean look outfit.
Does anybody else get what I mean about rocking a plain white tee?

Recently Acquired.

I'm seriously trying to cut back on my spending at the moment, yet I still manage to have picked up a few cheeky things. I do need to sort my spending out as I can be quite impulsive and my bank account doesn't like it one bit. Even more so when I try to persuade myself that buying from a charity shop is okay as of course the money is going to a good cause,  except my money still vanishes, need to get that idea out of my head asap.
top Small market-like shop
This was only £6 and seemed like a brilliant idea, my sister bought a top from this shop too and I think we both had second thoughts on our purchases. I do like it, just not as much as I wish I did.
velvet vest charity shop
This velvet number was only £1 from one of those baskets you must rummage in, it was definitely worth the rummage. The colour is perfect, and the velvet as a bit of luxury, it just means I constantly stroke my stomach whilst wearing this haha.
floral blouse H&M via charity shop
This has already been worn rather alot recently, it's just such a nifty blouse as it's light and baggy meaning it's perfect for hot days, but I can also use it as a little jacket for the evenings. Already have many a outfits spinning around in my head for this beauty. My friends are so impressed with this find for some reason.
speckled skinny jeans ASOS via charity shop
Grabbed these for just £3.50, they are a great fit and something a little different with a speckled, cloudy effect and the zip is on the hip so they are even more slim lined.
cat iPhone4 case Urban Outfitters
I'm not even that much of a cat fan, I mean I don't have a particular favourite, but this case is just sooo pretty. The mix of the colours and the cat's eyes just make it a bit of a wow case for me, despite the fact if I stare at it for too long it starts to creep me out a little haha. I picked it up in the Brighton Urban Outfitters for £12, which is that bad, is it?
Hope you guys have picked up some cheeky bargains this week too, what do you think of mine? Have a fabulous weekend!

Off Duty Fluro.

Hola chicas. I've had a rare few days off this week so have been keeping it simple and dressing comfortably, but I have had to jazz it up with some fluro pink. Injecting spats of colour into an outfit can really up you mood, and I adore wearing pink lipstick when everything else is pretty mundane. I'm loving my fluro nails at the moment too, I've had the colour for absolutely ages but never worn it. This season is definitely the one for some neon, plus I swear it makes my hands look that little bit more tanned.

Also, I'm not usually one to wear just leggings and a short top but these new ones are so thick I feel slightly more at ease in them. Plus they look like uber tight jeans (jeggings?) so I can pull off a subtle souble denim at the same time, woo!

Fingers crossed for more sunshine tomorrow, so I can get some Ray Ban action, I love them dearly.

Autumnal Feelings.

The weather is rather hard to get to grips with at the moment, so much so that my wardrobe is all disarray with winter essentials still hanging about on the rails. When I opened my front door this morning to steps full of fallen leaves it felt like I had fast forwarded to Autumn. What's going on?
So now that nature has me feeling all Autumnal, I though it was okay to wear these trousers my mum picked up from a charity shop for me. I've seen khaki hiding in and about some highstreet shops recently, but in my head on tops and bottoms, it will always be an Autumn colour. Perhaps because military is often an A/W trend, does any one else know what I mean?

This is such a comfortable outfit, and I've worn it about town today and going to jazz it up with the Jasper Conran boots from this post
Hope you are all dandy sweets!

Charity shop stars.

Hey all, hope you have all had a lovely weekend. I've been working non-stop boo! But I can't complain as I get to sleep in on a Monday, which just feels marvellous.
Wanted to show you girls some charity shop bargains of the week, all though I must point out a few of these are my mums doing. She is THE ultimate bargain hunter, my shopping idol you could say haha.  Think this little haul ticks off a few key S/S 12 trends too.

Each of these items of clothing cost no more than £4 each. I love charity shopping! Just proves that you can find on-trend things, you just have to rummage and ickle perhaps.
Waht do you think of my bargains? Which one's your favourite?
Definitely finding it hard to pick my favourite one.

Stay dandy <3
