Polka Dot Geek.

Lazy Sunday post of a uni outfit last week, a bit of geek chic don't you think? Perhaps it reflects how studious I've been lately, uni is serious..huge amounts of work, not that I'm complaining too much as it's work that's enjoyable and actually quite interesting, perks of being a fashion student. Which reminds me, did anyone go see 'Perks of Being a Wallflower' at the cinema, I thought it was such a brilliant film, didn't get distracted once and Emma Watson really has dropped the Hermoine label, highly recommend a watch.

This outfit just reminds me of how much I need to sort out another pair of glasses, the ones I'm currently wearing are hideous and rather scratched. Anywho, this outfit needs a quirky, geeky pair of frames to complete it don't you think?

Last Night.

Hey all! Hope you are having a wonderful Jubilee weekend! Everyone seems to be having a quintessential  British weekend, with bunting, picnics, tea and union flags galore. I think it's rather warming to see the whole nation pulling together and showing some patriotism, celebrating all things British. Plus I caught the end of the boat pageant yesterday, and the royal family bobbing along to the orchestra was just too sweet. So yes, this long weekend calls for a huge royal jolly, don't you think?
I went out for a bit of a jolly last night and just had to wear this playsuit, I know the weather wasn't really on my side but it's just too pretty to leave on the hanger all week.

The print is what caught my eye at first, then the collar, then I realised it had cut-outs on the waist..and there they were, I had three very good reasons to spend £16 on this beauty. Yep, you read right, only £16! I'm also in love with these boots, I've had them for years but always thought they didn't fit, but recently found some silky pop socks for my huge feet and the shoes slipped on a treat. In fact they are by far the comfiest heels I've worn, and not too high either (a bonus for the boyf).

Have a jolly Jubilee sweeties!
