Hey Joni.

Finally, after attempting to get an outfit post up for the past few days I managed to spare time before university today without nosey people, awful weather or atrocious lighting getting in the way. Mind you this isn't perfect, and the wind was pretty determined to blow me away at a point. I think every blogger out there, including myself, is longing for summer days now, simply for the outfit snaps...some heat wouldn't go a miss either would it? Nevertheless we shouldn't be wishing our days away as my Nana would say, alas we must brave the last of winter, and just pretend for now. Enter trusty Ray Bans.

There's a few new naughty purchases amongst this black outfit, including the spikey, silver necklace which adds an edge to any top and the new Topshop jeans, Joni- super high waisted and tight. I chose the dark shade as they could be very versatile, worn in the day like above or for a night out with a pair of hot heels; this reasoning lead me to believe it was okay to spend money I shouldn't have. Totally worth it. Have you girls tried the new style? What do you think? For me Topper's jeans come up trumps amongst other highstreet brands, the range and fit is like no other and the price is pretty reasonable for a long lasting pair.

I'm off to attempt a work out in hope of a perfect summer body, a girl can dream right? Hope you are all well and THANK YOU so much to all my lovely new followers.

Into Something Blue.

Evening all. Have you noticed it too? My old flame is slowly creeping back into my heart, electric blue. And this time round it's not just electric; it's sky, navy and teal. It was so bad last time that my friends started to cool it 'Sam's blue', but now I like to think I've broadened my style horizons. During the autumnal months it's nice to have a bit of pop in your wardrobe to break down the dreariness, and this skirt definitely does this.
Baring in mind I've had this since my 20th back in May I've barely worn it, and I'm pretty sure my friends were tired of me complaining that nothing went with the blue gem...for some reason I had it in my head that whatever I wore with it would make me look like a nurse...yep, I know haha. But, hopefully to some of my friends joy they can rest assure that there will be no more moaning, the breton top has come to the rescue, as they always seem to do with many outfits.

I'm starting to build quite  a good Forever21 archive in my wardrobe, so happy; whenever I wonder around the store I always come out with something...it's that good, the chirpy price helps too AND you get student discount, bonus. If you haven't ventured into the American high street chain it's an absolute must.

Sunshine Sequins.

Thought it was about time I got these babies out on the blog, do you like? These sequin shorts have been in my wardrobe since the January sales, a bargain find of my muma's (she's a bargain queen) and I've actually been able to wear them consistently throughout the year, be it on a night out or for a meal with the girls, however they do look an awful lot better bare legged than they do matched with tights. Thanks to sequins sticking around this SS12 they've been a very worthy sale find, with the muted sparkle keeping them sophisticated  rather than Christmas party-esque.

I've just been wearing this outfit on strolls about town, as the top plays the sequins down for a day time look, everybody loves a good old breton top; a wardrobe necessity!

A big shoutout to all my lovely new follower by the way HELLO!!! <3

Ich Liebe Erdnussbutter.

Hallo! Last night I returned home from five lovely days visiting my friend Eva in Cologne, Germany. We try to see each other at least twice a year, taking it in turns to fly over to one another, and this was perhaps my fourth visit and I love it more each time. After having a few stressful months at work I really felt like a break, and catching up with one of my favourite girls was definitely the right medicine. We managed to cram in so much, a weekend of shopping, relaxing, partying and exploring was just perfect!
So whilst I've been missing from the blogosphere I managed to take some outfit photos, although I wasn't incredibly good at remembering, and despite taking a huge suitcase full of just clothes I still felt like I was lacking choice...girl problems hey.

I'll catch you up with more of my german escapades next time, for now I'm going to sit and read this 50 shades...see what all the hype about and indulge in too much milka chocolate! It's so damn good, and so cheap in Germany so I stocked up haha, all different flavours, yum.

Off Duty Fluro.

Hola chicas. I've had a rare few days off this week so have been keeping it simple and dressing comfortably, but I have had to jazz it up with some fluro pink. Injecting spats of colour into an outfit can really up you mood, and I adore wearing pink lipstick when everything else is pretty mundane. I'm loving my fluro nails at the moment too, I've had the colour for absolutely ages but never worn it. This season is definitely the one for some neon, plus I swear it makes my hands look that little bit more tanned.

Also, I'm not usually one to wear just leggings and a short top but these new ones are so thick I feel slightly more at ease in them. Plus they look like uber tight jeans (jeggings?) so I can pull off a subtle souble denim at the same time, woo!

Fingers crossed for more sunshine tomorrow, so I can get some Ray Ban action, I love them dearly.

Floordrobe Newbies.

So I can finally relax after such a busy week, my body is just ready to flop on my bed and not move for a good few hours. I've been at work everyday except one for the past two weeks so a lay-in is absolutely necessary tomorrow morn. It's not been all work no play however, I have managed to cram in some lovely evenings with friends and Jack too. Of course, I also found some time to do some shopping (duh!) so thought I'd flaunt some new additions to the clothes mountain on my floor (of which will be conquered this week some time).
leggings Marks and Sparks
I was only cutting through M&S to avoid the rain, but ended up trying on about 6 things and purchasing 2 pairs of leggings in the sale. These lovely denim blue ones, and a black pair with folds on the thighs. Both so comfy, and £9 each, which isn't too bad as the Limited Collection range is always such good quality.
skirt Forever21
This is actually from my birthday haul, but still haven't worn it. The colour and scalloped hem is a winner.
shorts Primark via charity shop
I thought these would be perfect for a holiday cover up, I'm not too comfortable walking around in just bikini bottoms, and for £1 you can't grumble.
kimono jacket H&M via charity shop
I was very nearly going to buy a beautiful kimono from Topshop back in January but Jack convinced me £45 was a little steep for something I wouldn't get that much wear out of in the winter. This feline find was a bargain.

Oversized and striped = comfy perfection. Makes me feel like a french artist, minus the tash.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend, and are now prepping for a lazy Sunday eve, I am! <3
