Royal Mess.

Evening girlies! The evenings are drawing in dead quick, and my my isn't it getting chilly, all the reason to drink more tea accompanied with a barrel of biscuits right? Brr. Now most of the time I'm a morning person (despite what the boyfriend may say), and once I'm up, I'm up...but this cold makes it so hard to get out of bed, especially when your student lifestyle means heating is an absolute luxury and you've been using candles to warm your room haha. What makes it worse is that this is just the beginning, this cold is only a scratch on the surface; it's going to get colder, and as it does I'm going to roll into university looking more and more dishevelled.

Another wear out of this Kate Middleton-esque dress, it's such an ideal dress to just throw on and build a look around; the leather jacket toughens it up whilst the red scarf print and lips a bit of oomph. Know what I mean?

Pinch of Petals.

Last Summer this floral headband basically lived on my head, but this year it retired to one of my many storage boxes that I never think to open and left hoping for next Summer. Snooping through said boxes, I rediscovered the head candy and thought autumn could do with some blossoms, so alas it's time has come. Because who says flowers are only for Summer? Why can't we flaunt some flower power during the dull, grim days too...especially in a season when head accessories are all the rave.

Although I really do love the head candy trend, no matter how pretty they are it always seems like a lot of faffing about, and I always end up touching/ readjusting my hair because the band feels like it's slipping. Though this may just be me and my big head, it genuinely is bigger than an average head I'm sure haha, I'm afraid my headbands or alike will stay put in the forgotten boxes...until next time.
I'm off to rummage through the fridge for another petit filous...undoubtedly one on of THE best yogurts ever made. Scrum.

Naughty haul.

Hello hello, I thought I'd update you on a few favourite additions to my wardrobe, that I have been feeling a little guilty about seen as it was all funded by my student loan. Oopsy.  And in actual fact, I've just got back from another mini shopping spree, this is not good at all guys...I need some control. I'm even considering giving my card to the boyfriend back home so it's not so accessible, otherwise I will be completely screwed by the time Christmas comes around...oh deary. To put into perspective how bad it has been, I've bought six pairs of shoes within one month, SIX; I'm not even a 'shoe person' guys. Seriously haha.
But here, you can have a snoop through some of my goodies.
denim shirt Forever21
I had yet to own a denim shirt, one with a collar anyway, and this cropped one looked so cute on the hanger, the colour is quite a classic shade that will last throughout the seasons. Perfect.
necklace Forever21
My aim; to own a good variety of shorter necklaces. This simple, gold one looks perfect under a collar, a key starter to my collection.
hi top trainers River Island sale
After having my eyes on these for a while, I thought it was about time to delve into the hi-top trend, especially with these being in the sale at £20.
ankle boots Primark
Ahh my spangdangly boots, although somewhere inside of me tells they are hideous, I just think they are just amazing. Your thoughts?
top Primark
I actually just bought another one of these today, in white, I think they're are definitely going to be a staple this season. Basic tops in basic colours are everybody's friends, you can style them anyway you fancy.
leather jacket Topshop
You've seen this jacket right, it's one of Topshop's biggest sellers of the season so ALOT of people have it. Usually this would bother me, but it's just so lovely..and it's one of those 'goes with everything.'
Hope you are all in for a lovely weekend, I'll be back with an outfit post asap.

Furry Encounter.

Today I managed to to take my faux-fur coat on it's first proper outing...okay so it was only uni but still. After slowly easing into this coat, and being able to wear it comfortably and confidently I've now anchored my love for the faux beauty. Plus, it's so warm and snuggly, just what's needed when the chill is creeping upon us.

What do you think? I think my search for the perfect winter coat is over before it even to began, now that's a success. How's your hunt going?

It's now officially the weekend for me *little party in my head* and I'm off to London to visit one of my bestests, very excited; days full of shopping, wine and laughter await. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Sunday Look Back.

Today has been one of the most chilled days since I got back from holiday, topped off with a perfect walk along the seaside in the crisp, fresh air and an ice cream (it;s never too chilly for a 99 right?). I've been able to clear my mind and reflect a little on life at the moment, drawing me to put an infamous instagram post up.
Enjoy <3
My first ever project at university involves researching Celine, can not complain at all. My course seems perfect, immersing myself in fashion completely is a dream, and I'm studying at the same time.
These Primark pj shorts were just too cute not to buy, how wintry and cosy do they look?! Perfect for my weekends back home.

Jack and I often go along to the amusements by the seaside; two pence pushers rock. Then we take a walk along the promenade, ice creams in hand.
Introducing my new juice cravings, peach juice. I drank ALOT in Spain but can't find it over here boo.
These are part of my ever increasing recent haul, spandangly cowboy boots...just amazing.
This photo is a rarity, my sister hates her photo being taken, yet she looks beautiful just before a night out.
Oh my gosh, these red Zara boots are just so hot. I've lusted for a long time now, and probably missed my chance.
This picture sums up our holiday, even looking at it makes me feel so relaxed. Can not wait for our next one already.
One of the best things about holidays, the ice cream. My favourite flavour had to be watermelon.
Arrived home for the weekend to these, I'm a lucky girl.
My student loan came through so I treated myself haha, and yes I had this for dinner not breakfast. Breakfast food is the best kind though.
Tasty potato snack, Chipstix, at a food fair in Canterbury, I thought it was such a nifty, brilliant idea yet so simple.
Perfect summer image.

Holding onto Summer.

So back to reality, no more holiday snaps for now. Instead, an outfit I donned to uni on my first day, even though the weather hasn't been cheery I need to get the most of my tan whilst I can, so the legs have been on show a little more than they probably should in the Autumn. And the pastel, pleated skirt is definitely one of my favourite finds of this Summer, it has definitely secured my new thoughts on pink clothing, something I wasn't too keen on a year ago.

Writing this post has made me crave some thrifting, perhaps I'll put it on the agenda for the next week. Definitely want to find some bargains like this gorgeous shirt, perfect for winter with it's dark floral print, and as a teeny cover up on a night out.
Have a great weekend lovelies!

Perfect Evenings.

Hello there strangers! I know, I'm actually the one being the stranger, with starting university this week I haven't had the internet to blog. Boo. But we have now set-up the internet and it's getting switched on next Friday, and for the mean time I'm back in my home town stealing the boyfriend's wi-fi. So before doing anything else I wanted to complete my holiday posts, even if Summer does feel like a distant memory. Autumn has well and truly put it's foot down right? There's that crisp, fresh smell in the air and the hot chocolate addiction has been unleashed for the season -make mine topped with cream with a side of shortbread.

It was rather lovely being able to dress up for dinner with Jack, every night felt like date night, and he even he got into the swing of smartening up.

I'll try to resume to my usual blogger self asap, I miss reading through blogs and taking outfit snaps. Hope you're well and September is treating you all well, the month of new beginnings quite often.
