This Term's Newbies

So only two weeks into this term of university and there is a substantial dent in my bank balance, these little beauties helped me make it.

I'm so happy with these new additions to my wardrobe as it desperately needed freshening up, just in time for some sunshine. Amongst this mini haul there are definitely some favourites emerging.

At number one is the tanned leather bag from Mango; it was a bargain in their mid-season sale at only £22.99. When it comes to picking a bag I always tend to go for neutral shades (the yellow Céline luggage bag being a dreamy exception) as then it will carry me through season to season effortlessly, and this Mango find feels as if it will do just that. Sturdy, spacious and sophisticated it will be hard to pry this away from my arm for a while.

Close behind is the very simple polka dot find from Forever21. As we all know the t-shirt trend is as strong as ever with every high street store selling their own plain versions for what some could consider a wee bit too much. However, for only £7.25 I couldn't walk away from this cute, quirky tee that could possibly become a Summer staple. It just brings a little bit of happiness to plain old jeans or denim cut-offs, don't you think?

Yet to be worn but still tugging at my heart are the little shorts also from Forever21, they are just too pretty. The print is a little Erdem-esque, blurry floral colours screaming Spring/Summer whilst the monochrome waistband keeps structure so it's not too much. In my head I'm partying into the sunset with these babies on, and I can not wait ha.

Studded Hippy.

 Thought I'd squeeze a post in before the boy comes along and demands all my attention, not that I'm complaining; he's bringing ice cream and hugs so all is well hehe. Today was my sister's 16th birthday, so I trotted off up to my parents with goodies and home made cakes galore, but beforehand I lounged about at Jack's whilst he was at work. I was lacking in outfit inspiration so gave his wardrobe a raid and found a belt from when he was younger that to my delight fitted my waist perfectly. Stolen.

 Pretty nifty huh? May have to raid the boyfriend's wardrobe more often. Speaking of which, I'm off to pack a smidgen more before he gets here; think packing will be the death of me, takes forever and I've too much stuff! Hope you're all having a lovely, less stressful evening.

Ex-Prom Dress.

 You know the 'make-me-feel-better' outfit I wore on my sick day? This is it. An old prom treasure, at the time this seemed like the perfect dress, the only one I just had to have, and although I'm not sure that those feelings still remain, it's still a wonderful pick-me-up girly piece. It was my first ever decent Republic find, and I must say it changed my opinion of the highstreet brand, and nowadays there is always some pretty little thingmy eyes wander to in  store.

The dress was only £25, although my 17 year old self thought that was pricey...I blame my bargain hunting mum haha. But isn't it just such a cute dress? The shape, the print, the heart-shape back.

Printed Trousers.

I haven't done a 1,2,3 in a while so thought it was about time I shared some love for printed trousers. I have had them a while, of course another charity shop find, for around about £3. Not too shabby hey. But they are originally from H&M and I know they are offering up similar trousers in various prints in store now. The great thing about these are that they are tremendously comfy, it feels like you are not wearing them at all, plus they are bang on trend for summer.

This orange crop is a perfect balanced with these trousers, they both scream look at me, and that kind of goes well here. right? Gold jewellery will forever me my go to when I want to luxe an outfit up, it pulls the outfit together for a polished, city look.

A much more low-key going out look, with of course a bright accessory to awaken the monochrome. I loved how the black wedges looked with the trousers, and the length of the trousers seemed perfect. A denim jacket seems to be prints friend.

This outfit kind of oozes Ibiza beach, with vibrant colours and prints merges with the loose, easy shapes. I tried to throw some sports luxe in with the watch, but it just got me wishing even more for some snazzy hi-tops or something.

These trousers are definitely coming with me on holiday, so easy to wear and light. Hope you enjoyed this 1,2,3... Sorry it's rather late, work got in the way a LOT earlier than of course I had to rush out to watch the England match. I love the atmosphere around football games, especially when England do a good job. C'mon England.
