Oversized Tartan.

Hello there, I'm heading back home again today for a weekend of celebrations (with essays and sketch book work squeezed in at every opportunity), my beaut of a sister turned 18 yesterday and my boyfriend's mum is having a shindig for her birthday Saturday, plus I'm hoping to have some tea and cake with my Nan who turned 78 this week later on. January is definitely turning out to be a jam packed month, with uni deadlines making it even more hectic; but I can't complain because busy is how I like it, you feel much happier when you have plans all over the place right?
Anywho, here is my 5 euro bargain from Paris, the ultimate comfy shirt that pack's a punch with the bright tartan print, perfect for my train journey home this afternoon.

This is the first time my gorgeous winter coat has starred in a post too, a bargain in the Debenhams sale at £20 which isn't too shabby huh? The detachable fur collar is what sold it to me, as the masculine shape looks great without it too and is so easy to throw on last minute to keep warm, think this coat will share a few winters with me for sure.
Hope you are all well and January isn't too blue.

Let's Play Catch Up.

Hello girlies! I've had a crazy hectic but crazy good week, so much so I still haven't crammed in any outfit posts much to my dismay, sorry girlies. I have however done two fashion shoots  AND been to Paris, all very exciting therefore better catch you up with what I've been upto.
Trotting off to the station at 6am, wrapped up extra warm.
Paris at night, first time I've laid my eyes on the Eiffel Tower...already planning to return in the Summer.
Eaten a shameful amount of this stuff in the last few days, always stock up in Europe.
Definitely ate a snail, not quite sure what to think.
Amazing macaroons and real hot chocolate, it was like drinking a brownie YUM.
Too much choice in the scrummy Parisian patisseries.
Spent many evenings creating inspiration boards for my shots, this is 90s nostalgia.
Trying new things with my hair with a little bow band from a Christmas cracker.
Found the perfect book for my course.
Making the most of the uni library these days.
Was shocked to see Meateor had been taken off the Dominos menu, so create my own had to do.
Sneak peeks of my studio shoot with my beautiful model and photographer Nadia Ryder
Getting ready with the gorgeous uni girls.
Being posers at Palais Royal.
Finally found the postcards from Rome so I can stick them on my 'places I've been' wall.
Paris was amazing of course, and we stumbled upon some fab vintage shops where I purchased some goodies, of course so I'll show them off soon. Hope you are all staying warm in this extremely chilly weather!

Pleated Play.

As promised a new outfit post for you guys, featuring some of my favourite new buys this week including a gorgeous pleated midi thrifty find and a oversized grey tee from Toppers. The basic collection in Topshop at the moment is amazeballs, there is so much choice of staple wardrobe pieces such as midi body con skirts to sweaters; all of which I adore as the styling options are endless. These plain t-shirts are definitely hitting the spot for me at the moment, need to add more to my wardrobe asap plus some glorious jewellery .On that note, can anybody send me in the right direction of some eye-catching statement necklaces, I've been searching for what seems like forever for THE perfect one and alas, I'm still yet to.

I'm also loving bright nail varnish again at the moment, think I'm lusting after Summer sun a little too much haha. I couldn't decide between the two colours so painted each hand different...odd I know, but it did add a pop to this grey outfit. Note the cute western ankle boots, Jack got these for me as a surprise for Christmas and was so proud of himself for picking something so out of the blue that I fell in love with straight away haha, boy did well don't you think?

Hope you're all dandy and fending off the horrid bugs going round at the moment, I'm trying my best with copious amounts of green tea. Take care.

Mission Keep Warm.

Hello there, blogging seems a little sporadic still, but now I've settled back at uni so you can expect plenty of outfits and hauls (hello student loan) from now on. I'm currently trowling through all the work that should have been done over the break and trying to fend off a cold which seems to be a losing battle, especially when my house is practically a huge a freezer. So begins mission keep warm...
Drinking copious amounts of green tea in hope this will fight the ickiness, out of one of my favourite ever mugs.
My parents got me lots of 'warm' gifts for Christmas including this cute little hand warmer and microwavable hottie.
To commemorate 2013 I've written a list of 21 'to-dos' in my 21st year, which is keeping me distracted from work.

This blanket is my new best friend, it's SO soft and cosy, a perfect pressie from my muma.
The jumper is from a boutique in Lakeside, the bow hair band from a xmas cracker.

I should have a few outfits and a huuuuge haul up my the end of the week so keep posted!
Hope you're well and not fallen victim to the stuffy January blues.

Low Key NYE

Happy New Year to all you wonderful people! Whilst everyone is kick starting their detox and getting back to some sort of routine, I'm still laying in bed with one hand in the Heroes tin...ooops. This Christmas break has been the ultimate chill out, so much so I've barely taken any festive or outfit snaps...bad blogger I know. So NYE I forced the boyfriend to take a few pictures before we trotted around our friend's for a quiet (yet alcohol fuelled) night in, note I still managed to squeeze some sequins in one last time before the seasonal jollies were over; sparkle in January just doesn't quite hit the spot, right?

So there was my last outfit of 2012, here's to a brilliant 2013 full with many pretty clothes hehe.
I'm off to write a to do list for the year ahead, I decided resolutions weren't my thing this year...have you made any good ones though?
